Hey there — I'm Tyler. By day I'm a Data Engineer at Fayette County Public Schools, where I use SQL, Power BI, and SSRS to help administrators make better decisions about student outcomes. On the side, I help small businesses and companies of various sizes in the Lexington area do the same thing: understand their own data and use it with confidence.

Most small organizations are sitting on valuable information — in spreadsheets, point-of-sale systems, or donation software — but don't have the time or tools to make sense of it. I bridge that gap. I'll build you a clean, interactive data visualization tailored to your specific needs, walk you through how to use it, and make sure you're not dependent on me to keep it running.

Before pivoting into tech, I taught history in the public school system. I care deeply about education and community, which is part of why I'm drawn to working with local businesses — organizations doing real work that deserves real data support. It's also where my background in education gives me an edge: I excel at making the complex simple.

Outside of work I'm spending time with my wife and family, playing or coaching basketball, and cheering on the Louisville Cardinals (I know, I shouldn't have told you that).
